Mark Cheel graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Latrobe University, Melbourne in 1997. Over the past 26 years he has worked in both Private Practice and Public Health, mostly in the Geelong region, but also in the United Kingdom. Mark's special interests include; treatment of spinal pain (back and neck) and upper and lower limb conditions and sporting injuries. After qualifying as a credentialed McKenzie Method physiotherapist in 2011, Mark continued his post graduate study to gain a Diploma in the McKenzie Method (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) in 2013. He is one of only 18 physiotherapists in Australia to gain this level of qualification. Mark maintains professional roles in Public Health and Education, through Advance Practice Physiotherapy in Accident and Emergency and Education of Physiotherapy and Medical students. He is a skillful and passionate clinician with a focus on achieving optimal outcomes for his patients. Hands on manual therapy,specific pain-relieving exercises, targeted education and other self-management strategies are central to Mark's care.
