Our Physio Exercise programs involve a detailed assessment of your condition, specific exercises prescribed to improve any loss of strength, flexibility, balance or coordination associated with your condition and assist you in achieving a long-term solution to your problem. Our small group classes are conducted in our beautiful state of the art exercise studio.

What is Physio Led Exercise?

Physio Led Exercise is therapeutic Exercise that is delivered by a physiotherapist. It is usually delivered to a small group of participants (less than 4 people). Each participant is assessed by a physiotherapist who prescribes and closely monitors a therapeutic exercise program designed to manage their injury and / or condition. It is suitable for the management of a range of Spinal, Musculoskeletal and Sporting Injuries and other conditions including Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis, Pre and Post Natal and Women’s Health Issues. At Aberdeen Health Rooms all our classes are delivered in our beautiful fully equipped exercise studio. As all our programs are led by a physiotherapist and delivered to manage an injury or other condition participants with Private Health Cover may be entitled to a rebate – see your health fund for details.

Our Approach to Physiotherapy Group Exercise

The physiotherapists at Aberdeen Health Rooms are specially trained to provide the most researched and effective therapeutic Exercise Programs for a variety of Spinal, Musculoskeletal and sporting injuries and Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis. Our approach involves a very comprehensive assessment of your condition, including a very detailed history and testing of your movement, strength and flexibility, which helps us to determine the exact cause of your problem and the most effective exercise-based intervention.

Physio Group Exercise using Clinical Pilates exercises

This involves our physios delivering Physio led therapeutic exercise sessions which include Clinical Pilates Exercises to small groups (less than 4 people). All our group exercises sessions are run in our beautiful exercise studio and participants are able to perform their exercises on state-of-the-art equipment; including Reformers and other specialised Pilates Equipment. All participants are assessed by a physiotherapist who prescribes and closely monitors a therapeutic exercise program designed to improve Strength, Flexibility, Balance and Posture and provide a long-term solution for their condition. Classes run for 1 hour and participants must be assessed by a physiotherapist and have several private physio exercise sessions before being able to join a small group class.
